Arthas Thomms a 20 year old human cleric of Mortomal from Blackdawn city, with close cut brown hair and clean shaven face, he's of an average height and build and would be entirely unremarkable except for his over-large eyes which often remind people of a naive owl. He's been apprenticed for the past 8 years with the linguistic expert Master Grendy who has overseen his training and introduced him to Mortomal's temple where Arthas swore his life to collecting and preserving knowledge in Mortomal's name.
Over his grey cloak he wears an enormous travelling pack, a skillet is strapped to the back and a wooden shield with a simple crescent moon painted in white is hung loosely over his side close at hand. His scale mail clinks as he whistles happily, strutting his way to the docks and the ship he's booked passage to Mynos with. Master Grendy had finally released him from his apprenticeship so he could explore the world and had even given him a letter of recommendation for the Radiant! Arthas had been slightly displeased when Master Grendy had characterized them as a shady group of tomb robbers; but he was certain he could fulfill his duties without compromising his morals much and small sacrifices would be worth it if he could use the Radiant to learn more about the world and document it to share with future generations.
Personality:
Loves a good mystery.
Listens to both sides of an argument before casting judgement.
Ideal:
The collection and distribution of knowledge is the surest means we have of improving the world.
Bond:
Life's ambition is to write a definitive history of his generation.
Flaws:
I am easily distracted by the promise of information.
Possible story hooks:
Desperately wants to be invited to the Haven of the Owl a secretive group of gifted explorers and scholars and would go to great lengths to attract their attention.
