Thanks for understanding guys.
Colin was talking about wishing to run a campaign. In later weeks I'll always be up to play, so if you're wanting to do that Colin, let us know about your plot and what types of characters you're looking for. We could have some characters on the side and maybe do a bi-weekly games?

That's a possibility but I was thinking that i'd pick up and run a session as you needed breaks instead of regularly running one. I have a game that I run weekly at the moment and I get bogged down if I'm running a lot of games. If we're looking for a bi-weekly alternate game maybe we should rotate GM's for that game every session or every other session. That being said, I'm up for it if we want to run an alternate game with a light or comedic tone.
What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

Personally, I'd rather just keep DMing my game. I already know what's going to happen, and if everybody was clued in it wouldn't be as exciting.

I'm always down for star wars. You didn't seem to be digging it though.

I enjoy gathering on a weekly basis, though I completely understand the problem of the GM grind. One option is to alternate campaign weeks with "sandbox" nights or encounter nights. I've been in games where we did one campaign bi-weekly, and on the between weeks we took turns GMing one-off nights, mostly encounter style, where the whole idea was to try out new ideas and gameplay mechanics. It's also a good way to test out Roll20 features.
I like to experiment with things, and sometimes campaigns make it hard to do that. But if you know you're just doing one night of gameplay, you can think out of the box and experiment.
I'd be happy with most ideas.

I liked it, it just took me a while to figure out how to play it. Also the fact we only had two players made consistent engaging interactions difficult.

We could do good 'ol dungeon crawl sessions with throwaway characters for those side-sessions. One good thing that I can see coming out of that is a little RP "stretching" so to speak-- trying out new character concepts, mechanical or fluffwise.
Not really much story necessary in most of those other than "gold, loot, and glory" or a never-ending search for an artifact. Probably don't even need out-of-dungeon NPCs, can just start the characters at the dungeon entrance and see how far they get, and we can puzzle out why each of them's there through RP.

I may be late tonight. Like 8ish. I'm meeting a guy to buy a 4wheeler. Feel free to rp your guys in the fort. It'll give your characters some slowdown time to reflect on the chaos

Hey guys - sorry I missed out Thursday. As silly as this sounds, I simply forgot it was Thursday (prolly due to my travel schedule earlier in the week).

Missed ya dude. We had some trickery to deal with. We decided Mercator was helping with the defense of the fort by mixing up concoctions to throw down at the besiegers.

I gotta prep for some finals this week. Probably won't make it to the session, there's quite a bit of material to cover.

Bummer I missed out. I've been traveling a lot for work. I will also have a difficult time making it this week, although I am hoping this will be the last time for awhile.

I forgot to mention here, but I cancelled the game for this week because I also have finals. We'll see you next week.
