When I initially created the group, my vision was to eventually build a community of text roleplayers. It’s hard to create a community when I’m only accepting applications for 3 new players. I wouldn’t expect anyone to want to stay around if they weren’t selected. There’s good reason too. There just isn’t much else to do beside chat in a tavern. So, I decided there should be a change to how I was going about everything.
We will now concentrate on short GM ran events, instead of long never-ending plotlines. These events will be smaller storylines that build into the overall global plot of Justicor. The event that I am currently recruiting for will be the first, but I’m hoping that others may volunteer to GM an event so that more people can enjoy the world at the same time. Plus, if you submit an event idea and run it successfully, you automatically get 500 xp points to spend on any character!
With these new ideas come some small changes to character application process. Please visit the website, justicor.wixsite.com/home; you’ll notice that I’ve added a Character and GM Event Application Tab.
I know most of you already filled out the forum application thread. Even so, please fill out this new form provided on the website: justicor.wixsite.com/home/character-application . This is your characters application to the whole world, not to just one event. We will be playing similar to how Pathfinder Society operates. Your character’s skill, items, and achievements will pass over between different events. You can even spar to build up XP! Joining does require you to make a myth-weavers sheet. I hope that isn’t an inconvenience.
I originally said all new players will start at level 3. I am taking that back. All characters, besides Blank and Olek, will start now at level 1. You may use any option in the core book to determine your abilities. Only material from the Core Rule books is accepted.
This will only work with the others volunteering to GM an event. If you have an idea and wouldn’t mind GM’ing an event, please submit an application and we’ll speak more about your ideas. You can play a character in one event and GM another. You can not play in 2 events at one time.
I am aware that the website is lacking some lore information. I am working on updating that, but if you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this will encourage more of a community to come together. I hate turning any one away, but we can only GM so many at one time.
